My brother in law's Dell All in One printer, when attempting to print
a full page of text will only print lines to ¾ of the margin, then
skip about 4-5 lines and attempt to print the skipped lines in the
right hand ¼ of the page. He has a Dell system, XP SP2, using word
(the print test page does the same), tons of RAM and memory. I have
switched the system to allow Windows to select the amount of memory it
needs, no help. I would rather not call India for help. Any
suggestions. BTW, he has recently loaded a series of SIMs games for
his kid.

Reload the (proper) printer driver.
