I need to put vlan's on each port of 2924xl. This switch is in an office
building and we need to segment our addresses putting 1 customer on each
port. This is to control the flow of traffic and see who the heavy bandwidth
users are. Also is it possible to lock down an Ip address to mac address on
the switch? I currently am doing it on the router. Again this is done to
keep customers from using more than their assigned ip's.

No, the 2924xl is a layer 2 switch. You need a layer 3 switch (catalyst
3550, catalyst 3560...) to do this. You can just use port security, that
means you can controll the max. number of mac addresses behind a port.
