I'll be finishing my CCNA soon and would like to obtain a CCSP down the road. Ideally i'd like to start prepping now though. My questionis this; Given the two lines Cisco has for security (PIX and ASA) which would be the better platform to learn? From my understanding, ASA is replacing PIX. Would it be wise to just get a PIX 501 and an ASA 5505? Or should i lean more towards the ASA?
