hi,
my t42 works fine using windows xp zero config for wifi, but if i turn off that service to get the lenovo software to handle the wifi nothing happens. i am windows xp sp2. i have used system update to install the current sw. i have downloaded the current sw and installed it myself - 77wc39ww.exe and get no errors. the driver version on the t42 is correct, 4.1.2.156. i am using the admin account for this machine. any suggestions? thanks. nlehrer |

I personally uninstall Access Connections straight away when I get my hands on a new Thinkpad, in favor of the built-in stuff. I've tried for years to get Access Connections to work reliably, to no avail. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, and I've given up. Just my $.02. Lanwench [MVP - Exchange] |
