VPN not connected with global IP
Posts: n/a
I have a PIX 6.1 with the following configuration (not shown fully)

access-list incoming permit gre any any
access-list outgoing permit gre any any

global (outside) 1
global (outside) 1

nat (inside) 0 access-list nonat
nat (inside) 1 0 0

I am trying to connect to a VPN server on When a host
in the inside network is assigned by PIX the IP (as
verified at the VPN is
denied. Whereas a host inside the network is assigned by PIX thru 254
the VPN is successful.

How can I configure PIX to not assign to a host? Is
there a better solution?

I have been raking my head all week. I'd be grateful if Walter or
someone could
kindly answer.
