Default Wireless PCI card connector type...

For my wife's wireless PCI card (the antenna screws onto the card) I want to
use either a hi-gain antenna or an antenna stand that I can move to a higher
spot. I notice that all of the stands and antennas want you to specify
either an SMA or a TNC connector type. How do I figure out the connector
type?

Tia,

Howard

Hi
Usually the Card's data sheet would mention the type of connector.
Most PCI cards have SMA plug.
Look here, http://www.infinitecables.com/pop/rf_rf1-1022.htm
The Left is TNC the one to the right SMA.

here's one that will work with either (and quite well) for 802.11b/g
2.4 GHz
