I made a mistake by opening a file with an application and it changed all the files with the same extension to open with that application. Now my program won't work. How do I revert the files back to open with an unknown application?

do you remember what was the extention?
if you don't recognize it, it might be that you don't have the software to support it. usually you can just right click on the icon select "Open with" then select the program/choose program that it was meant to be open with. if your unsure which to choose from, click the link that's on the bottom next to the "ok" button that says "look for the appropriate program on the web" i hope this helps. ![]() BohemianGeek |
