Each time I press mouse click or enter or whatever the operating system
plays a sound.

It never did that before.

What could have caused this to happen ?

Ok,

I have disabled the "start navigation" sound hopefully it stays that way !

Now I go find a way to run this C&C thing on Xp 64... maybe virtual pc or
some emulator will do

Shame on microsoft for ditching old stuff like that !
