I cannot receive directx over the internet. Diagdx says that
all the functions are OK but there is a file missing from
registry "input". So I have run Microsoft Registry Checker
and my registry is apparently OK. I have downloaded a new
and rather large Direct X and installed it in Windows System.
The file is still missing. So how can I replace the file ?

My OS is W98SE. I have thought of installing a second browser
like Netscape to see if provides the appropriate liason but am open
to informed suggestion. k35454.
