Default taking MCSE 2k3

Hi

I need some opinionson MCSE for windows 2003 server exam.
It's already the end of 2005 and Microsoft is going to have
new server come out soon. Do you guys think that it's worth it
to take the win2k3 MCSE exams now?

Thanks

Yes. Longhorn's release is a way off. MCSE 2K3 on Windows Server 2003 R2
will still be an MCSE 2003. Granted, there may or may not be an R2 upgrade
test.

Many of the electives in the MCSE 2003 will likley carry over to Longhorn
when it is released.

Note - Windows 2003 Server R2 is not Longhorn.

No, don't take the 2003 track. Wait for the next OS to come out. Oh, but
then don't take that track either because MS will be bringing out another OS
shortly after that. Take that track, oh wait.....

It's nice to have your collection of certs on your wall. Getting certs just
helps you to get your foot in the door, it's how much you know and what you
do with it that's the biggest factor. The MCSE 03 track is harder than the
2000 track, so if you wanted to get on the "paper cert" bandwagon, you might
as well do it now. Once the longhorn tests come out, the mcse 03 will be
around for a little while, so you have plenty of time.
