no it is not
then link via cat5 cable RJ-45 CM to WAN socket on router.
then from the LAN router sockets back to your PC or via wireless to PC.
power EVERYTHING OFF!! (disconnect mains)
power CM let it settle
power router let it settle
power PC's
you might need to enable all PC's to get IP automatically and enable DCHP on
router
