For 2 years I have had my desktop pc linked via Linksys wireless network
adapter (ver. 2.6) to my Progear tablet pc. Both systems were Windows 98. Now I finally upgraded my desktop to Windows XP home (table pc still Win9 I installed the Linksys driver according to instructions for XP. In the network neighborhood it says the connection is enabled but it doesn't list the tablet pc and I can make no connection to it. I know that the instructions said to do the process on the other computer as well. However, the tablet pc has no floppy or cd drive. It relies on a wireless connection so I have no way of loading the disk (which I was asked if I wanted to copy for use on the non-XP computer). I never erased the old information off the table pc that enabled my past connection. Anyone have any ideas how to connect??? MJW |
