Dear forum.
I am preparing the exam 70-290. I have configured a lab for testing purposes with 2 computers (one DC and one XP). Trying to test the remote access from the client to the server, the system refuse to authorise the login. The user belongs to the Remote Access Group and the DC GPO is opened to admit the access of remote access users (following the instructions of mcse book). The only way I have to access remotely is adding the user to the domain admins group. Do I forget anything? Thanks Raúl Gatón Miguelsanz |

Make sure to check the Default Domain Controller Policy and look for the
setting regarding which groups can use remote access. If it is not a domain controller, then check the Local Security Policy for the same setting. If you are trying to grant this access via group policy, ensure the policy is being applied to your session via gpresult or rsop "Raúl Gatón Miguelsanz" wrote: > Dear forum. > I am preparing the exam 70-290. "R"emote "A"ccess "P"olicies consist of "C"onditions, "A"uthorization, and "Policies". Check your remote access console to see what you are missing. I'm betting only the default policies are in place. John R John R |
