Default OT: kpg reporting in from the warzone

Wll, out here where I live in La Place, about 30 miles west of NOLA we
just got power back yesterday water is on then off then on. Now it is off.

Living here in 90+ heat without A/C is painful, but now that the power is
back
on we are almost whole. The oak tree in front of my house blew over onto my
car, but as a whole my family and neighbohood came out well.

New Orleans is a disaster, I'm sure you all have seen the pictures.

Unbelivable.

I'm at my house now, I can't get in to where I work because the police
have closed the roads to everyone except thoses that live in that parish.

I have not spoken to any of my co-workers o even know is my place
of work is intact. At the very least it is without power, possibly flodded.

I'll be back on with more updates later.
