I'm working on a program, I could use some beta testers, I figure you guys,
like me, are bored enough to test it out. No spyware weirdness, just a little bit of Microcephalic S. Bob coming at ya. Looking for ideas and comments and bug reports on: http://www.roblindman.com/apps/sas153.exe What features would you like to see added to this little desktop helper? Anyone else that wants to take a look is welcome to, but if you aren't a member of the MCNGP, you suck. Ben Smith, you can look at it, but there's probably a law against products by people named 'Bob' over there at Redmond. For information on earlier version of the application, see http://www.roblindman.com/products_sirarthursimple.php Also, very interested in learning what sort of network configuration issues you find to be a hassle, perhaps I could write an app to help with them. Microcephalic S. Bob the best is yet to come /* Microcephalic S. Bob [MCSBNGP+++ #7.13.86.42.1138.2600] */ |

Hmm... that button is supposed to play some obnoxious wav files, and doesn't
seem to be working right in this release. Any particular error message? "kpg" <ipost@thereforeiam> wrote in message news:Xns96B651E4628DAipostthereforeiam@127.0.0.1.. . > /* Microcephalic S. I don't know if it's a problem with him or with Crystal Reports, but when I changed the resolution with Arthur, CR had a fit and shut down. I didn't have the sound on, so I couldn't hear him talk, but other than the one resolution problem, I didn't find anything wrong with it. > Also, very interested in learning what sort of network configuration > issues you find to be a hassle, perhaps I could write an app to help > with them. We use static IPs here, and occasionally we have a client or someone come in with a laptop, and they need an IP address so that they can check their email or whatever. I have a nifty little network scanner that checks for in-use and dead IPs for a given IP range. Something like this may be handy for a lot of people. -- KB MCNGP #26 I modified the signatures.ini file to add this: www.mcngp.com Briscobar |

*/" <@> say in news:#kRFTr#: > Ben Smith, you can look at it, but there's probably a law against > products by people named 'Bob' over there at Redmond. you would be ok with "Rob" though. MS has never had a problem with rob (from everyone and keep for yourself). -- Neil MCNGP#30 - Cats are dumb? When was the last time YOUR cat went out in a blizzard to go to work? Neil |
