I too had a brain fart when trying to contemplate Superman 3 as being
underrated...

Was it underrated because it had too much filth and should have received an
R rating (theorhetically, the big S got busy with the blonde)?

Or was it because it's the only movie ever that depicted Richard Pryor as
being smart?

Or the double scene where clark kent and superman were separated and had the
yin yang moral conflict?

Or because it was such a good movie, what with the super advanced computer
that could generate a kryptonite ray beam, but could only have invented a
crappy superman missile video game with Atari PacMan sound effects?

Superman 4, I avoided because it just looked dumb.

Superman 5 is supposed to come out next year, I hear, and I suspect it will
be cornfed.
