What a scam!

Symantec announces a new breed of "security products" - namely the
"Anti-BotWare".

IOW, once again the security software industry manages to
sub-categorize malware making it possible to introduce new
anti-whatever products.

There is *absolutely no reason* why bots shouldn't be detected by
normal anti-malware. Well, except for one: MONEY.

These companies deserve nothing but having their butts kicked. But of
course that won't happen. Most users are too ignorant to see through
the hype.

Best way to send your message is switch to Linux. Not much use for
Norton there.
