So that was you who did that. I heard about an Airman who
did that. Better than the grunt at Ft. Sam Houston with the cigar.

FYI: Don't carry anything in your right hand while in uniform. It's just
good GP.

Very true.


....and in boot camp Marines don't salute their DIs. But
you do call them sir.

I once made the mistake in boot camp of referring to our TI simply by his
last name without realizing he was within earshot. Once.

In the Army we called our DI's sergeant, because they worked for a living.

Have you seen the new Gorilla Tape? Apparently makes duct tape look like
generic scotch tape. I have a friend who works at the plant making it and
says the glue is so strong it's hard to run through a slitter. (I know that
sounds bad)

Or the Marine at Paris Island who presented arms and took off the DI's
Smokey Bear. He was in the pit for hours.
