Time lapse duration on Nikon D2Hs battery?

Two questions on time lapse on Nikon:

Anyone know how the battery pack handles? I want to shoot a limp plant
re-hydrating over a period of around 5 hours, every minute, but I
dunno if I need to get the 110V adapter or not. Probably quite
expensive.

What about the flash? I want to use flash when doing this, will this
work or will the flash go to sleep and forget to wake up, or some
other problem? I'm using the 5 NiMH rechargeables.

Thanks for any tips!

DeanB
