Hi All,
It seems to me that there are so many so called MCSE's around and upon recently interviewing one such person, I found even the most basic of questions I asked, were responded to with blank dead brained stares. This person is the holder of an MCSE - I suspect very fake. I'd like to know how I may verify any future candidate's certification as I don't believe that them just presenting me with a copy of their certificate and Transcript (sometimes also there official little ID card) is quite enough to prove they actually completed a certification. Anyone know how I might perform this verification?? TIA Rob. rlw |

Yes. Instead of having them login go here and verify his status.
www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/transcripts You can request a transcript sharing code from any MCP. What you need is the purpose of this site. With that said I know some people that don't like to give their information out. (I don't know why) And also his MCSE+I might be real. Those people are what we call Paper MCSE's and they are basically useless, because instead of learning they simply memorized questions and answers with a brain dump. I know of several companies that request that sharing code of their potential new hires, a practice I think more companies need to start using. -- "The Rev" MCT/MCNGP #44 I may sound arrogant at times, but that's only because I'm always right. I shouldn't have missed that one, I had logged into mcp
and everything. Must have been in front of me. Oh well it's a cold wet Irish Wednesday and spent most of it unlocking user accounts. So I'll blame the weather and some of idiots I work with for making me frustrated. And yes believe your eyes, you did read it correctly. Noob is now MCP in windows 2000 professional; it's not much but it's a start on the road to glory. I know I should have tried for the windows XP exam but I have been using 2000 for so long now I was very confident that I would pass it. So now Windows 20003 sever your mine muhahahahha >-----Original Message----- >Yes. Just becuase the guy even HAS the MCSE or even if he is "der uber- brainiak" might not be enough though. Will the candidate FIT in your org. I know some really smart MCSEs (not paper) that will fit well in one company but not in another. but hey alt.hr.howtohire.mcse is over there -----------> -- Neil MCNGP#30 - Start button: The Windows 95 version of "C:\>".
