Is it possible to set my 2 linksys Wireless Access Points to the same SSID?
I would like them to cover each end of the building for my handheld scanners
so the operators dont need to change configurations.

Thanks

CIArga

Hi
The only way to resolve it is by trying.
Put each Router on a separate channel (like 1, and 11), and try with the
same SSID and a different SSID.

That is possible if your accesspoints support IAPP.
(IEEE 802.11f)

Same SSID and different channels is the standard way to support wireless
roaming with multiple WAPs. It usually works well with laptops. Whether
it will do the same for your devices is hard to say. Best to just try it.
