I have a setup of a small network with Windows 2000
Advanced server with 20 win Prof machines. I am able to see all the old shares on my server from the workstaions using My network places. When I try to access the server from the work stations, I have a error message: "The server is not configured for transactions" How do I sort this problem out. Regards Albert Zulu |

At the command prompt on the server try " net share IPC$ " or try to
uninstall and reinstall file and print sharing. Also look in Event Viewer for any possible pertinent errors and make sure you run a full virus scan on it with the latest virus definition files.--- Steve "Albert Zulu" <> wrote in message news:237901c4b05b$4c05d660$... >I have a setup of a small network with Windows 2000 > Advanced server with 20 win Prof machines.
