Default Help Booting computer

I have 98SE. When I boot up computer, everything comes up on screen, but the
pointer just keeps working and working and working. I have to unplug machine
to try again.

I'm sorry to hear that. Is it contagious?

Can you be more specific? You can't. OK, please hold.

Years ago this was a common problem on Dell Latitudes (pentium and
pentium 2).

The solution (strangely enough) is to restart the machine with no
mouse attached and press enter when confronted with the "no mouse"
message and manually install a new driver for the mouse...

Good luck, this is a tricky manoevre if all you've ever done is read
testkings!

Never figured you for a Troll, particularly a dead one.
BTW, line was taken from the mp3, which has been around since you were in

Hmmm, try to unplug the machine do you? Feel the force. It flows around you.

Boot Your Computer From safe mode and run ms config from
command Star->Run->type msconfig . Now remove unwanted
startups.
