Default 70-216 need some help understanding IP addressing.

I understand the basic concepts of IP adressing.
I know how to convert binary to decimal and vice versa
I know how to AND IP address' to determine if they are on the same subnet.

What I could use some help with is better understanding subnetting, 24 and
32 bit address? (say what??)

any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
AS.
