I am using a Microsoft Windows XP Professional, but cant activate may outlook.
I have tried troubleshooting it. I have verified the internet connection,
and the domain name system (DNS) settings are functioning correctly.

whenever i try to verify if i have resolved my problem by sending and
receiving email from myself, I always receive an answer of "error 623: the
system could not find the phonebook entry for the connection".

I am wondering what is the next step i am going to do here...

more relative to your situation. There a total of 16 forums
at microsoft.public.outlook

This is a Windows 64-bit operating system forum and not
geared toward Outlook as a separate program.
