Ia m studying MCSE for College (got Pell grant) and I am
beginning to think its not for me because I cannot concentrate on the material. I thought I could do all this because my counselor said I could make 50k$ upon graduation. Is there a support group for single moms trying to be PC people in a man's world??? I have no hope ... Connie |

If you're doing it for the money you'll never be happy. 50 grand, you're joking right? There's is a support group and it's called the MCNGP. Talk with them, they'll make it all better. Doom |

I think you should consider some other line of study. Don't let the single mom thing worry you; I'd be more concerned about whether you can understand the material, and whether or not you want to get into a line of work you don't or are unable to understand. And, by the way, anyone who says you'll make $50,000/year at grad time, and say it with a straight face, should be shot, especially a counsellor. Where I come from, $30,000 (Cdn.) might do it. hth steve. molsonexpert |

Well Connie,
I heve to agree with you that it is hard to concentrate on the MCSE course books especially if you don't know much about PC. My advice is, Think of it this way, since that you are already doing it ... continue doing what you are doing, only do it with the help of someone who has I.T background and know the stuff you are learning. It's just like going to school when you were a small kid. But anyhow, I advice you getting extra course materials such as CD-ROM Videos by Microsoft Professionals touching on the subjects of MCSE. These CD's can be purchased on the net or at your local I.T Software Shop. And just a little piece of advice, if anyone tells you that you can make 50 grand a month or a year. Its B.S! (Bull ****). Where I come from, everyone says the same old crap. You'll probably earn 5 - 8 grand a month and its also depending on your experience and how good are you when it comes to putting what you learn into practical work in the industry. Should you need any help you want, you can always contact me at And do not worry, there isn't any obligations! I used to face the same stuff u faced! P/s. To Mr. Consultant, Give the lady a break alright and stop asking her for the picture. you wanna find what i think ur looking, go to the strip club! The lady has gone through more than enough! william, although i appreciate your suggestion to visit my local strip
clubs, if i can entice this nice lady to post her picture, then i will not have to spend countless unnecessary dollars. on second thought, perhaps i will make a stop on the way home.
