Semi-OT: Braindumps on TV

Anyone happen to catch ER last nght? I rarely watch it, but I did last
night. At one point, while in the emergency room working on a patient, John
Stamos' character says to Mekhi Phifer's character, "I'll see if I can get
your brother a copy of last year's EMT exam." (paraphrasing)

So, the question I pose to my fellow members: Are you with me in boycotting
NBC, for allowing such a travesty to occur during primetime? I wouldn't be
so upset if this was a late-night comedy. But it's a primetime drama.
Millions of people saw this, and now they could potentially think this is
the right thing to do. Please join me in boycotting NBC.

I'm way ahead of you. I haven't been able to get NBC for about 17 years
now. We don't have cable. That'll teach 'em.

I'll boycott everything but "Earl". I almost died laughing last night when I
saw Norm McDonald as Burt Reynold's character's son. That was too funny.
