Default 70-228?

Hi Guys,
I will be taking 70-228 within 4-5 days.
I would like to know the if they will ask anything related to SQL 6, 6.5 or
7.
I never worked with any of the older versions of SQL Server.
Also, Can you please tell me how many questions will appear on the exam? or
a link.

Thanks in advance,
Sid.

Hi Cool Hand

I've just passed my 70-228

There are 45 questions. - Pass - 700

I got 775

I can only recall 1 6.5/7.0 question

Went something like this. You have a server with 6.5 an 7.0 installed
You install Named instance of 2000 and run upgrade wizard.
On database selection screen you are missing some 6.5 databases
You cancel Upgrade Wizard
You must see 6.5 databases - what should you do ?

I had 2 questions on locking - Check that you understand sp_lock in
particular Mode X and IX

I had about 4 questions on performance - answers were typically - add an
extra processor, add more memory etc

1 question where to answer correctly you needed to know that in a
multiprocessor server by default processor 0 is used by the operating
system. Logon for lots of people can be speeded up by configuring SQL
Server not to use processor 0.

Hope this helps

Considering that your a braindumping a$$ you should
have gotten a higher score don't you think?

See your already forgetting everything you only recall one
question.

See you obviously have already forgotten the NDA you agreed to
uphold which was before you took the actual test, let me guess
you didn't read it because you didn't want to forget the crap you'd
jammed into your short term memory, right

Shouldn't a braindumper such as yourself gotten
a much higher score?

You can only recall one question? See your short term
memory work was all for naught.

I see now that you've already forgotten the NDA you agreed to
before you took the test huh. Oh wait, I'll bet you didn't even rea
it because you were afraid you'd forget the dumps you'd used to
fill your short term memory.

Please join me in welcoming Sandworm, MCNGP #33

Only days after earning his warm-up MCSE cert, Sandworm has quickly earned
the elite premier MCNGP certification.

No thanks, however, to the MS filternazis.

Sandworm, your welcome kid and Hertz Rent-a-car discount card will be
shipped Fed-Ex whenever I can get a round tuit.

"Welcome kid"? Now, you're a bit older, so when you say "kid", do you mean
like 10 year old, or like 18 year old? Cuz, if you mean 18-year old, then,
um, well, I never got mine. Please re-send. I prefer female. And for the
record, I never recieved my Hertz car, either. The MCNGP Ferarri was
delivered as promised, but I had my heart set on an abused mid-sized sedan.

Wilcommen, Sandworm! May lusers everywhere cower at the merest hint of
your presence. May NNTP filters fall before your packets, and port 119
gape like a two dollar hooker's snatch whenever you log on.

Now get off that web interface and set up a newsreader. It's
embarrassing to have an MCNGP using it.
