Hi , someone knows : can I use the exam 70-216 for the MCSE
cerfitication? Microsoft says : Design: The design skills required of an MCSE on Windows Server 2003 do not differ significantly from those required of an MCSE on Windows 2000; therefore, no action is required. Thanks ! djattiman |

Though I never failed 70-216, it was indeed the toughest exam I ever
wrote... much tougher than the upgrade exam which I di0-216 d fail twice... I took one for granted, a bad idea. Having said that the answer to your question is that exam 70-216 is not a core requirement for the MCSE on Windows Server 2003, and you will be required to take the exams 70-293 and 70-294. Having said that, they are not as tough as 216 was! If you have MCSE on 2000, you only have to take the two upgrades. That is 292 (or 290 and 291 if you like), and 296 (or 293 and 294). You will in fact, not have to take 297 or 298 as whatever design exam you had for 2000 will suffice for 2003, that is either 219, 220, 221 or 226. John John R |
