I'd try one more thing. Delete the Intel NIC from device manager and
shutdown. Power up and it should be redetected. See if this makes any difference. I don't have much hope, but it's worth a try. Also, do you by chance have a different brand NIC you could try (and if yes, disable the Intel one).
