this guy has a great attitude! I wish I saw more that would set their
sights on the bottom rung like this. Ed, you're ok in my book and I think you'll go far. You will likely get to those higher rungs. Congrats... Kat <> wrote in news:40a1558c$: > Congrats Ed! Ed, Thanks for your reply on the "Design Exams" thread below... I'm still not sure... but I think I will probably go for 70-219 as my last exam. I've just passed 70-224... Its the only exam I failed and had to retake... in the end it took me 3 months to revise and pass the test (I built from scratch a small exchange org with 2 routing groups etc etc). I used the MS Exchange 2000 book by Kay Unkroth... this book was really hard going... the information is there... but the delivery is very plain.. I prefer the Mark Minasi... learn.. but have a bit of a chuckle while your doing it approach. I also used the MS Readiness Review... which was OK. Both times I took the exam there were only 45 questions... I thought I did pretty good on my first attempt but got just under the 700 pass mark... All I can say is dont take the exam until you are really confident... My problem was I passed five exams in a row and got over confident.. and rushed through the exam. Think of it this way... on a 60 question exam you get say 10 questions wrong (and pass)... on a 45 question exam you get 10 questions wrong and the outcome will be different! (I'm not sure if this is actually what happens... but if you revise with this in mind you should be fine) Good Luck. Ant Ant |

Glad to see a new person who looks at the IT world realistically. Hope to see you around the NG.
