Default log on domain??

Hi there,

How come when I have an XP Pro workstation that is registered to a
domain....when the domain server is powered down off, when I log on at the
XP Pro's bootup, it will still go ahead with the domain logon??

Whereas with my Win 98 machine, when the domain server is off, it will
return an error message "can't find domain"??

Your credentials are cached, or saved to your local disk.
Got it?

Default log on domain??
I think the answer was cached Credentials - now the next
question you should ask is, can you block the GPO???
