What you're talking about here is call "proactive
facilitation" in learning theory. It's the opposite of "retroactive inhibition". 217 is more focused that 216. The content of 217 is included in 216. So it makes sense to me to do 217 before 216. What do you think? Sincere |

I would tend to agree with you a little Neil, i only have little/none experience in Administring a Server environment, but there is none of these exams where a read at the MSPress book + Exam Cram wouldnt carry you over... Its a shame thats how it is...

ok here goes...
210 --> 215 216 --> 221 217 --> 219 210, 215, 216, 217 --> 218 216 and 217 are BARELY and vaguely related... 216 is about network infrastructure whereas 217 is all about active directory. These are 2 very different subjects and that may share an objective or 2 but not many and not enough to base one exam over the other. As mentioned by Neil in a later post in this thread, 216 is the bitch/beast/ball breaker... 217 is a walk in the park in comparison. -- Sue MCNGP #69 Proud member since April 8, 2002 "Mark [MS]" <> wrote in message news > Although the wheel sounds like a good game Neil, im not sure.. > > What i really wanted to know was would one of the exams build you up towards the next one. i.e. Would 217 strengthen me for 216 or vice versa. Im still doing my degree Neil, but am currently working for the enemy that is Microsoft. Im interested in the General Networking side of things and have registered to do begin a CCNP at nights in september. I would like to head down the cisco route as they seem to be the only people making decent money in this bleak era..
Id be interested to chat to you... is my messenger email address. Change the hotmale to hotmail... goddamn spammers... GRRRRRR =?Utf-8?B?TWFyayBbTVNd?= |
