opening files within applications

I need to be able to open files from windows explorer so that they open
within an application already running, rather than opening multiple
applications. I have managed to do it b4 but can't remember what the action
I belief you need to write a script as a DDE message within folder
options/file types/advanced/edit
I need to open jpg files so that they all open within one corel photopaint
Can anyone help?

Maybe this is what you want?:

Open Photopaint
Go to Windows Explorer to the directory with the images
Select the images and drag them on the Photopaint-icon in the taskbar,
which gives focus to Photopaint
Let mouse-button go
