I have a gateway, (old one) w/ xp pro on it, i got hacked the other day and
now i cant log onto the admin (user) account, the only account left is a
restricted acct my girlfriend uses. Is there any way to get recovery or
password, the network its restricted my pc so there is no way to get the cd
rom drive to be recognized by windows. all i have access to is A: floppy,
and i don't have permission to add/remove programs or modify the registry

You've managed to fall into the wrong newsgroup. You really want to be
posting this on the microsoft.public.security.homeusers newsgroup. There are
some outstanding folks there and they'll help you as much as they can.
