Weird...
it seems that it was just a few years ago that a bug was discovered in some
Microsoft software...
and now, there's another one???

Very odd indeed!

I believe that this Security Vulnerability can still affect you even if you
don't use IE as your Default Web Browser (IE is still installed on your
computer, after all, that is unless you are using Windows 95 RTM or Older)!

For IE7: "If you're using the new refresh of the IE7 Beta 2 Preview
announced at Mix06, then you are not affected by the public report."

Correction: 0 *known* security vulnerabilities.

I suggest yet another alternative, that is, to just quit altogether visiting
web sites that are likely to try to exploit vulnerabilities. You'd be
surprised how long a machine can actually remain clean.
