Hi Guys,

I have a logon script on WIN2k Pro which uses NET USE to map a network
drive. The script is working fine.
But, when ever I login, after the 'applying personal settings' I get a
restoring the connection dialog box with a cancel button and after few
seconds Enter network passwrod dialog box.
I don't want it to reconnect, coz the script will make the necessary
connections.
Is there any hidden registry trying to reconnect the drive?

Thanks

In my experience, that happens when you have ANOTHER drive
letter mapped to the same server AND it's connecting with
another username, so it's prompting you for the other
username's password.

The solution to that is to disconnect the other drive(s)
mapped tot he same server, and restart.

If you have a different situation, you'll need a different
solution.

Let us know more details.
