I'm having a problem installing Server 2003 x64. The media kit I have
has 3 cd's, 2003 server cd, 2003 x64 server cd, and rights management
cd.

The install is fine until it try's to install windows components. I
keep getting a dialog asking for windows server cd 2 to continue.

This is the second media kit I have tried with still the same problem.

Please can anyone shed any light on this.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Neil,
Which optional components are being installed?
What is the exact message when it's prompting for CD2?
What are the last twenty lines or so of the setupact.log?
Also all the lines in ocgen.log from the bottom up through the date line
closest to the bottom.
Where did you get this media kit?
Thanks,
Darrell Gorter[MSFT]

Neil, you have the R2 installation Disk One. There seem to have been a batch
of Windows 2003 Media Kits which have the wrong Win2003 SP1 disk. Go back to
your supplier and get either the whole R2 pack or R2 CD two.
