I cannot successfully install windows xp x64

At some time through the install i always get a Blue screen crash - usually
its
an IRQL error (Defined in the windows DDK). It crashes at random intervals
and
with various error messages. I have tried pulling out all my addin cards
(i.e
modem, sound card) and have even changed the memory and removed extra
harddrives.
I have flashed the bios to various recent revisions but have reverted back
to
the 1.4 as it is more stable than the newer ones.
I have changed every single setting in the bios (i.e. dissabled everything
but
for what is absolutly necessary to boot) and still no effect.

It does not matter what i do, i cannot get it to install at all.

Please help me, im at my wits end.

OK, start by running a memory test. This is almost certainly a hardware
problem, and the first place to look is always memory.

Hi Andy
When did you buy the system? Which company made is that?
Have you made any changes to the hardware after buying it?
I don't think the problem is so serious.
Can you try installing with a different copy of XP x64? Try to get a copy
from some one else which has been successfully installed before. Or try
installing the OS on your CD onto any other 64bit system.
Let me know what happens
