Hi,
Created a new post because of errors. Anyways regarding John's reply:
You are using it. Make sure you are using the 32-bit version of IE. You
also may have to install (mobo cd) and uninstall (add/remove programs) the
Nvidia firewall if you have an Nvidia chipset on your motherboard.
Responding:
Thanks,
Yes I was using the 32-bit IE and I do have nVidia firewall on. But that seems
extream to uninstall nVidia firewall to get Windows Update page to work? Can't
I just temporarily turn the firewall off?
Windows Update is great because it scans your computer for updates,
but is there another way to get updates? I just used the service at:
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.co...en/default.asp
And it gave me all the updates needed. However if I wanted to use this
again I would have to check to see if I already installed a particular
update already right?
THANKS
