A reminder to those of you who have not yet made the transition from Window
Update to Microsoft Update:

Microsoft Update is the new service replacing Windows Update. It unifies
Windows and Office product updates into one site. The transition is NOT
automatic. When you visit WU and it check to see if you have the latest
update software, WU is not checking to see if you are using MU yet.
However, there is a link on the right of the WU Welcome page concerning MU.
Click the link to begin the transition to MU. The transition preserves your
WU settings and history and does not require a reboot. After the transition
you will see the new MU menu item in your All Programs menu and you will
continue to see the old WU menu item as well. Both will now point to MU.
