I am getting ready to test for the MCP and working towards the MCSE just
wondering if the wallpaper is worth the $$. Also wondering how much harder the real test is compared to transcender. With questions like: Your company has recentley purchased 700 computers with Windows 2000 Pro installed. You are planning on using them for the accounting dept. You are running 2 Subnets, SubnetA and SubnetB. On SubnetA you are running a DHCP and DNS. On SubnetB you are running 230 Windows NT 4.0 computers. You plan on connecting the 700 Windows 2000 Pro computers to SubnetB. They must have access to SubnetA and must have access to the internet which is provided by a proxy server also on SubnetA. You come into work on monday October 10th at 7 am. Feeling the effects of the 7 cups of coffee you had for breakfast you rush to the men's room with a sense of urgency. While sitting on the porcelain throne of kings you realize that you are in the ladies room and have been operating without a WINS server which is probably the reason those damn Win NT 4.0 computers never have been worth a M$hit. Upon this startling revelation you realize that there is no toilet paper or paper towels in the entire bathroom. After careful deliberation you decide to use one of your elastic support hose to wipe and you walk like John Wayne to your desk. At your desk You fire up your computer only to get the cryptic message "ntldr missing" What should you do first? A. call the damn janitor and give him hell about the toilet paper B. boot from the Windows 2000 Pro CD and Run the //\.RfCpyplntHed.exe C. stop drinking so much coffee before work D. sneak out before anyone sees you and call in sick E. pretend to be working and act annoyed when approached by co workers F. NONE of the AboVe But seriously do they purposely create those time consuming questions just to increase your frustration and lower your IQ measurably during the exam? I think that they are, in their own incrutible way, attempting to create a fog of BS to duplicate the stress of a production environment. It actually only creates an impression of idiocy. But then, who would name their company 'Contoso.com' in reality? Oh, and you forgot: G. Check to be sure semi-automatic pistol is fully loaded, and spare magazines are close at hand. You are planning on using them for the accounting <Snip> According to a dump from cobol's site, the answer is: It is real Apparently, that's also the answer for all the questions on any MS exam. -- Fris "Coca-Cola trademark lawyers on line one" bee®, MCNGP #13 Certaholics http://groups.yahoo.com/group/certaholics =?iso-8859-1?Q?Frisbee=AE_MCNGP?= |
