people still buy mobos with VIA chipsets? I avoid them like the plague

And further it is now on the Asus site under Product Specification for the
A8V Deluxe, which I'd missed, although not under the A8V Deluxe Supported
CPUs page. So you were right!

I avoid all non-Intel chipsets. But due to Intels late arrival in the
x-64 market, I had no choice but to buy AMD, and hence a non-Intel
chipset. the A8V chipset seemed to get good ish reviews, and I have not
had too many problems. (still wish I had a Intel CPU and chipset thou..)
