Izpack installers

Hey All,

I am trying to post an izpack question to the mailing list but alas,
my email just bounces like a rubber ball for some reason. In any
event I have a java question about izpack.

Izpack is a free rather robust installer for java applications. It is
very easy to configure via an xml file.

I'm hoping someone can help me out. I have an installer that I'm
making, and I'd like to be able to force the user to uninstall the
existing package before installing the new one. I'm currently not
sure how to do this. My installer does a few things such as start the
daemon-like application and the uninstaller stops it. I need to be
able to force either an upgrade or force an uninstall of the old
application. If anyone has had any luck with either of these two
topics, I would love to hear from you.

Thanks in advance,
Matt
