Hi
The 3rd party freeware application Winsockfix is for WinXP. Vista is suppose to self correct the Winsock, run the Network Diagnosis process and see what it says. Jack (MVP-Networking). It could be 3rd party security software. Or this search result may help.
Vista Internet Access Issues Vista: Can't access some secure web sites ... don't fix the problem, try to use FireFox because some web sites and coding may not be compatible with IE 7. ... www.chicagotech.net/vista/vistaieissues.htm -- Bob Lin, MS-MVP, MCSE & CNE Networking, Internet, Routing, VPN Troubleshooting on http://www.ChicagoTech.net How to Setup Windows, Network, VPN & Remote Access on http://www.HowToNetworking.com "Fred Nolan" wrote in message news:... > Sooooo > What do u do when Vista Net Diag says no fault found. > > AV updates OK > Ping anywhare u like > Email works fine. > > IE cant find anything !!!!! > Robert L. \(MS-MVP\) |
