I like AntiVir, but the latest version requires restart and
configuration changes with each update, i.e., every day.
When I update, I can't use system restore until the computer restarts,
and then many of my older restore points have disappeared. I then
can't use system restore to undo this process. Why should a virus
scanner like AntiVir need to mess with my settings like this? I've
used other anti-virus programs, and each has its own weakness. Should
I switch programs, or live with this one? Thanks in advance.
