I am using a small linux eterhnet-gadget device (gumstix) and connecting to
Windows XP using USBnet. This uses the RNDIS driver. But this connection is
very unstable. It rarley stays up for more than 30 seconds. (it works better
on some PC's but its not predictable) I have read a lot about the RNDIS
dirver problems and would like to know what the status of this driver is. I
desperately need for this to work our new product depends on theis to work.

Try the RNDIS driver from the latest ActiveSync; if this won't help,
you may want to contact Microsoft product support.
