xp-sp2 all current updates; 2GB RAM; 2.4GHz core duo; cable modem, 15mbs
down/5mbs up. intermittent packet loss. recent development on established
connection. all mechanicals clean and tight. no AOL, not used for porn; only
home email; no mass mail. all av, mal-scans show good. broadband reports
tests good, no negative reports. no firewall alerts. any ideas?

With such an astounding lack of information, like - when, how you are
measuring pkt loss, to what address, route from source to destination.
Where the loss shows up.
