MCSE Training Kit: , Exam 70-270

Hello
Thanks in Advance for helping me better understanding
about [MCSE Training Kit: Microsoft Windows XP
Professional, Exam 70-270] text book which I newly bought
& I am using it to pass my MCP exam but i am NOT sure
about contents because it has bublished in 2001/2002,
maybe it is not updated but Microsoft still recommands to
use!!!

1. (Is it still useful????)
2. Which books/Materials do u prefare to use?

Yes it is an interresting book, and it has also a link to
MS readiness training simulation exam whcih is also good.
But for sure it is not enough you will ahve some reference
to crosse check to the resource kit as well and a lot of
practice not only theorie.

I fail the exam recently for a score of 675 and minimum
was 700, so close, now I am preparing again to redo it soon
