Partition recovery

I installed Partition Magic on my C drive, and used it to create an
extended partition on a second drive (D). After formatting and
rebuilding my C drive, I lost the extended partition on the D drive. I
re-installed Partition Magic, and it *sees* the lost partition, but
won't access it. Now what? I haven't written anything to the D drive
since this happened, so everything should still be there, right? Just
lost a FAT or something?

Thanks, JS
